Every tree has a story to say - Grow through what you go through

All through our life we have been grumbling about one issue or the other to people around us. We keep complaining about people their behavior, attitude and every other thing possible particularly when they are not around. We whine over simple problems building a huge mountain out of a mole. We express so much of protest towards things that we consider are inappropriate.

Is complaining and whining the perfect thing to do?
Are there any alternatives that will pull us away from such stooping down?
Are we really treating our sixth sense with due respect?
Should our sixth sense be treated as our first sense in reality?

Every tree has a story to say

When is the last time you made it to your terrace and looked at every tree in your view without any other thoughts running in your mind?

If you are one among those who feel that you are being beaten up constantly by the obstacles life poses one after the other, stop. Go to a place at home from where you can get the view of trees. If you don’t have the set up, go to a park. Sit down on the bench quietly. Look around you. The many trees you will find there have not grown to the size they are today without facing the wrath of nature.

Some of the trees that give you cool shade might have been cut down during its early stages.
Some of them might have got injured in their barks.
Some might have lost their supple leaves for Science projects.
Some might have lost their fresh seeds for the preparation of medicines to cure mankind of various diseases.
Some trees might have lost their twigs to help little birds to build their nest.
Some trees might have lost their neighbors totally to become papers so young minds can get their education

Despite undergoing such trauma, they are still there providing you the much needed shade, safeguarding you from the angry sun’s rays.

Grow through what you go through

Imagine a life without challenges and obstacles. Every day we will get up or some days we will still be curling inside our blanket after the sun reaches the top. We will have nothing to do getting up from the bed. We will cook and eat. After that, we will have nothing to do. We may probably sit and while away time since we have nothing else to do. Then we will need something to eat. We will eat and again while away time since we have nothing else to do. Are we not stagnating in a comfort zone which is denying us growth?

This explains the beauty of life. Challenges become obstacles only when we look at them from that mind set. No challenge is a problem when we deny looking at it as one. It is in the spirit we exhibit in looking at every problem as a challenge that makes life interesting and worthwhile living.

Turn back. Reflect on your past. Think of the distressing moments you have crossed to reach where you are today. Accept honestly that the obstacles of your past have groomed you into the person that you are today. Thank each of those problems you encountered heartily after all they have made you the strong person you are today.

Learn to approach problems as challenges because problems defeat us. We win over challenges. Every win adds to our mental strength redefining our inner self in newer dimensions.

Stop limiting your challenges. Start challenging your limits. You will soon become one of those trees that have not lost their values yielding to the problems they experienced.
